Rex has been sick off and on the whole month of September. Now it has carried over to October. In the photo's below..Rex is basically sick in all of them..you can tell in his sweet little eyes he doesn't feel good. He is such a little trooper. I was hoping things would be different than they were with Jake....but it turns out Rex just outlasted Jake a little longer. Rex has had trouble with teething really bad, which I think contributes to some of his runny, nasal talking, snoring, breathing thru his mouth, ear infections, sinus infections, eye infections, etc. Poor Rex is all I can say. I think he is well, next minute he has a fever. So, he has been in and out of the doctors office and I was sick of the antibiotics not working, the last was a two day shot and eye drops and it didn't work...so I missed my grandfathers funeral last week because he was so sick with a double eye and double ear infection. Then when my parents came home and seen him (of course I was thinking the shots worked) they said he still seemed very nasally and he just didn't look good. So I made an emergency appointment with the ENT- Our regular 1st visit wasn't suppose to be till Oct. 13....but since Jake was a patient and had 3 surgeries he fit me in that very day I called. Yes, my poor son still had a double ear infection! So he has to have bilateral tubes put in on October 15th. I feel terrible for him and how long he has suffered. He is such a champ....he is always happy! I sure thought that Rex would be different, but he will be a lot older than Jake was when he had his first surgery (9 months) Rex will be 18 months. Not that it makes it any easier!
