Blogging my thoughts has been a little scrapbook for me to come back and one day read what my life used to be like. Almost 5 1/2 years later it is hard for me to even remember Jake as a newborn. But, more importantly, this time of year is a time to be thankful for what we have. Even though I get carried away sometimes with the everyday business of taken care of two kids, I want to remember how truly thankful I am for everything and everyone in my life! I am thankful to be a daughter to two wonderful parents, a sister to an awesome brother who I look up to, a wife of a very sweet husband and a mother to two precious children who I adore! I am thankful for my relationship with God, wonderful friends who I love dearly, troops who are not able to be with their families right now, my home, being able to stay home with my kids most of the time, my job, my church, my freedom....and the list could go on and on. It is a reminder of what is important and a big eye opener to remember those who are fighting for our freedom, and are not able to celebrate life with their own families. To those soldiers and for all the Veterans out there....THANK YOU for your sacrifices and Happy Veterans Day!
