Where do I begin?!
Last Friday, was Beau's 35
th Birthday! I got off work early
because I had to pick Rex up from Gamma's, I stopped and picked Jake up from school. We were getting ready to leave Gamma's house when Jake took the horn from the bike and blew it in his ear! I didn't think he pushed it all the way, but later found out he did. On the way home he fell asleep against the
seat belt. As soon as we got home he was moaning and whining his ear hurt. I just thought it was the way he fell asleep on it. So we were going to go to Stride Rite in
Murfreesboro to get shoes for the boys, since their sale started that day and I wanted to get them before the sizes were all gone. He cried all the way there almost, but as the
mean wonderful mommy that I am, went to the shoe place first! ( he was fine in the store, running around) After we got in the car, he cried again. I told him that was it, mommy now thinks something is wrong
because of the HORN! I finally found a minute clinic at Kroger's and sure enough the boy had an ear infection! He hasn't had an ear infection in over 3 years! She said he had fluid behind the ear and that the horn just made it red and irritated....so got him medicine and went home. Beau got a
McDonald's Birthday Dinner~ I told him it should make him feel younger~ like a kid again! Poor Beau got sick over the weekend with a bacterial infection so he was out for the count all weekend. So his birthday was not a good one at all!
