What do 6 year olds say?!

I had to post this, Jake did not want to eat the dinner I made him tonight. He tried everything to get out of it. We had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and peas.

Jake: Mom, why do I have to eat everything you like? You don't eat everything I like.
Mom: Everything I like? You can eat this, I make it so it taste good.
Jake: I don't like meatloaf, you do!
Jake: You don't like candy, I do.
Jake: You like chicken pot pie, I don't.
Mom: Is that it?
Jake: For now it is.
Mom: Just eat it!

Candy was the only thing he could think of that I didn't~ He is so wrong on that too!
