Project Time

I have had the itch to sew lately! A few friends wanted me to post my rag quilt I made a few months back for Sarah's 1st birthday, so I am finally getting around to posting it. I decided to make a funky colored one, not a baby blanket...and this is the front of it:

and this is the flannel back of it:

I still want to make one for Rex, Jake got one from his Aunt Angel when he was one, so I loved it and that is why I decided to make one for my niece. I knew Jake's was just a tad on the little side, so I made this one just a bit bigger for her. But, that was my first time to sew EVER....and now I still have the itch to sew something!

Now, granted I learned a few things from that quilt...like not going to make such SMALL squares again! haha and the fact that I don't want to spend any longer than an HOUR to make something else!

So, that leads me to a sneak peek at my next sewing project( i probable should of started with this one first!)....I can't wait to make it! Of course...finding time to make it will be hard, but least I have the fabric and material I need. This is for Rex, he loves (cyke monk's) motorcyle's and my mom got this pattern for Jake last year for his 5th birthday...so glad you come across that mom- cause it works perfect for this project!!! Thanks!!!!
