Jake had his first BMX race on Sunday afternoon. They have 3 races to do, the first race- his foot slipped off his bike and he crashed into another little girl, he ended up slicing his toe, but finished the races. The little girl crashed and bent her rim, so she was out the rest of the day. The second race, Jake came in dead last, he just has not got used to pedaling the entire time and then the last race, his foot slipped off the pedal again....you guessed it...dead last again. He was mad until he got his trophy! He loves racing, he wants to ride his bike all the time, his little friend told him after the race, Practice makes Perfect Jake....you have to learn to be fast:) He is such a sweet little boy, he is the same age, but started racing when he was 5...so he is in the novice races now.
Jake, we are so proud of you for giving all you got with the races! Way to go:)
