First Sleep-Over

Jake got to have his first sleep over Saturday night! Draven and Maicee came over on Saturday afternoon for a couple hours and when his mom came to pick him up, he asked to spend the night. Now last year we tried to do the same thing, and about 10pm he wanted to go home, so I took him home. But, not this time Draven was such a big boy....he never once asked to go home! Now I know why parents say no, when there kids asked to spend the night...it is alot of hard work...you know you try so much harder for the other child to feel at home, and make his time special...you want him to be happy and not want to go home. Goodness.....I feel so old today! I slept horrible....and by the time the boys finally went to sleep....it was in bed with me! Then they were up at 6am ready to play again! We made a special trip to the donut store this morning just to make his visit complete....he didn't want to leave this afternoon when it was time to go!

Rex finally got to play with his girlfriend Maicee for a while.....although he kept referring to her as "Daisy" it was soooo cute, when she left he kept asking where did daisy go?

I finally had Maicee to myself! I was so excited....I decided to paint her nails and toes..I first started off with her little pretty toes- it was soooo weird to see actual toenails on her- I am so used to stubby broken toenails on my boys! By the time I was done with her toes, I was over it....I didn't do her fingers! You know I have undiagnosed ADD! She was such a little lovebug....she liked to be held and we played strawberry shortcake together....such a little princess she is!

I had made this apron for Maicee way back in the summer time, but kept forgetting to give it to her...so we put our aprons on and made some valentine cupcakes!



Then we played dress up, she loves to walk around in high heels, my favorite past-time:) Rex was trying to kick her......this was at the beginning when he wasn't to sure how to play with her!
