Last year, I forgot to get him a card, and I didn't get him a present...we were going to go out to eat and visit his parents....but Jake ended up getting sick with a big ear infection and we spent the night looking for a clinic in Murfreesboro and getting medicine filled!
So I was going to make his 36th birthday a great one, specially since 36 is my favorite age! So I surprised him with basketball tickets to Kentucky/Tennessee game in Knoxville. Last Saturday was the game and of course, we lost:( so my surprise didn't turn out to be so good! They left the stadium all mad and embarrassed! Glad I didn't go, I would of felt like I jinxed the team. Jake had a really good time with his daddy, even though they lost!
Before the boys left they were all smiles, doing the John Wall Dance!
I did managed to buy his card 3 weeks ago, so I wouldn't forget it this year....and I surprised him with a small UK themed cake for his big day!
