Happy 7th Birthday Jake

My oh my, you are growing up way to fast for me! I never imagined having a 7 year old! I still remember when I was much younger....how I couldn't stand kids between the age of 7 and 16...now I just think ALL kids are just the best, specially your age now Jake! Amazing how a child of ones own changes everything! I am so glad God has blessed me with such an amazing little boy. You teach me something new everyday! I look at you......and you make me smile, Jake! You are such a great son and I am so blessed to be your Mommy! I hope you have the best birthday ever- you BIG 7 year old! I love you with all my heart!

Jake didn't really ask for any party for his birthday this year. . So this year, he is finally in school on his birthday (usually he is on spring break or Easter he is out for) So, he decided he wanted cookies instead of cupcakes for the class(well, maybe I decided for him!). I looked high and low for these certain kind of cookies I wanted. I have always looked at this blog, and thought how adorable they are with there shiny bright colors and such. But, she doesn't deliver cookies:( so I had to search high and low, I knew I wanted someone personally to make them, I didn't want a big company or franchise. So when I seen a picture of these cookies from her ETSY site, I just thought, they looked just like the other's and her stuff was so cute....after talking with her...I found out she is friends with Shannon from The Cookie Mama, and she even uses the same icing recipe:) What some luck I have! So I got the exact cookies I was looking for and she delivers! You should check Cookie Girl's blog out, the cookies were amazing and soooo fresh, she ended up cutting the cookies by hand to match the picture I sent her! I have never had a sugar cookie like this before.....I wish she lived near me, I could deliver cookies to his class for every little holiday...specially Halloween! lol I also wish I could plan all my kids birthday themes...she has so many ideas for little boys....you think it, she can make it! I love them and Thank-you so much for all your hard work making those cookies for me, I really appreciate the time and detail you put into each cookie! I can't wait for his party at school today! He told me tongiht, no camera- that is embarrassing!

I think it is just like the picture!
