I just wanted to post my birthday boys special day's celebrating their birthday! Thursday was Jake's birthday and I got to go to school and celebrate with him and his class. Here is a picture of him and his favorite teacher Mrs. Kerney! and Elijah was in the background trying to get in the picture, he was making me laugh so hard...first he was right up in the picture with them, and she told him to get out of the picture....this is the boy Jake used to not get along with, but Mrs. Kerney says because they are just a like! Imagine that! lol

I think the highlight of his day was, taking the leftover cupcakes
to other teachers, and I asked him where he went, he delivered one to his
kindergarten teacher Mrs. Rowe:) he is the sweetest! That was his friend Bryce with him.
Then he had his friend Draven come over and spend the night, the boys went to Pump it Up for the night and the next day we all went to Papa's and Gagee's house for a little party for Rex and his Spongebob cupcakes, he couldn't get enough of blowing candles out! Thanks Papa and Gagee for the cute outfit, I sure hope he warms up to wearing sleeveless tops, for some reason he would rather wear nothing than have to put on a sleeveless shirt! As you can see he had a sleeveless underneath his long sleeve shirt, he wanted to take it off, but I said lets put on a long sleeve and when you get hot you can take it off, he never took it off!
Jake started his BMX season this past week-end and topped it off with his first race of the season with his trophy and his old bike, that's right my boy graduated to a bigger bike and he asked for a red bike this time....so he is on the road to #1 because he came in 2nd place with his new red bike! Yeah Jake, Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you! We are also going to do a little traveling with Jake this year, they have two other tracks in TN so we will be traveling for races there this summer, in order to race in the State Championship Race he has to have 2 state qualify races, last year they were in Nashville, but this year they are in Morristown and Memphis. We are excited for him wanting to advance in racing! I am extremely excited because one race track is in Memphis and that is a place none of us have been to, so we are planning on a trip to the Zoo there also! We sure do have a busy summer of racing ahead!

Jake's new Red bike
Saturday was Rex's birthday, that boy is my little wild boy! He got a BMX helmet and a new BMX bike himself! We were just going to get him a helmet, because he wears Jake's ALL THE TIME, but when he started riding his bike on Friday with no training wheels, we decided to get him a race bike too! He is so excited about it too! It actually sits lower to the ground than his little red bike, but he thinks he is SUCH A BIG BOY! He should be racing by the time he is 4! I sure think he will be giving Jake a run for his money, he is so much more interested in the bikes than Jake ever thought about being! I am just excited to have brothers interested in the same thing! No running around with different sports with us...or staying late at night during the week with ball games! We even had a number plate made for Rex....it is so adorable! Since he won't be able to race this season, we got him this number plate with the #3 on it and his name that says REX RACER! so adorable cute...if I say so myself!
Rex Racer on his new bike! He sure does fly on this light bike, he was even standing up on it! You know I might be partial, but I think I have a little genius on my hands! I didn't think he would understand how to use the breaks on the handlebar, but I was mistaken...he loves using the break and is so good and stopping and going on this one too! He sure has surprised me with this bike stuff taking off with no training wheels and now on to all these big boy bikes!

I guess it is time to retire the little bikes for the grand kids! I think we are well on our way to having a big collection of bikes! Now if I can only convince Beau to let them ride my old pink banana boat bike....I loved that bike:) Guess I will have to keep saving that for Sarah!
