We sure did have a nice weekend- although the boys are still off tomorrow, I have to go back to work....we had some friends come over on Friday night...Rex was making his girlfriend cry....but he loved his watermelon.....this is the first one i got that he could chew all on...usually I buy the pre-cut ones at Kroger......this was the best one I have had in a long time- last year every time I got one it was not good.
Saturday...was the last soccer game! Yeah!!! Jake was so excited for the last game so he could get his trophy!!! They also had alot of blow up rides for them to all play on for the last game!! I am so excited that is OVER WITH! No more practices twice a week, no more busy Saturdays....we can finally relax and just enjoy life again! I sure do feel for parents with two kids in sports...but this soccer is not for me. Every Saturday was either cold, windy, rainy, or muddy from the rain the night before. I had one Saturday game that was really nice. Needless to say...Rex will NOT be trying that sport out when he is old enough! That was the last of Soccer in the Pinkston household! And I can't be happier!
Today we went to our neighbors house, that live behind us; for a cookout/swimming party. Jake had a blast in the pool, but Rex didn't really care for the water! The water was too cold for mommy, but daddy braved it for his boys! Rex was in awhh with there dog...he treated the dog about as nice as he was to his girlfriend! All three boys of mine are tired....Rex hit the sack about 6:30....Jake followed around 7:15 and daddy was soon after that!
