Jake had his end of Kindergarten Graduation Program this week. They had so many little songs that they had to learn things with like the days of the month and years, nursery rhymes, numbers, the pledge, and I forgot more, but I did take video and I put that below of just a few videos, as you will see Jake sure isn't going to be on American Idol anytime in the future...he didn't like to sing or move to nothing and he was just as embarrassed as he used to be in Pre-school! I am so proud of all the things he learned this year! I am so impressed with all the things that Kindergartner's have to learn, Jake is a really good reader now- I can't believe he knows how to read simple sentences and books now! I didn't even know my shapes...let alone read!
Next Thursday will be Jake's last day of Kindergarten! Where did it go? I am blown away how fast that flew by. And what is even scarier is that the years will just keep getting faster and faster each year that passes. Jake was very fortunate to be in the class he was in this year. Everyone got along so well and his teacher was just what he needed- she had so much patience with him and taught him so many things AND didn't tattle tale on him too much either! It really was a great year! With just a few speed bumps:) He is officially in FIRST GRADE!!!He received an Award for Encouragement and his Diploma. Way to go, Jake....my BIG first grader!!!
