Rex has been holding his bowel movements for about 2 months now. I have tried everything with him that is natural. They tried to push that miralax on him, but since Jake can't go to the bathroom now without taking it...I refused to start another child on medication. I have gotten some natural magnesium and flax seed oil for him to go and this seems to be doing good. He still wants to hold it in- but is unable to do so now, but no more fevers or throwing up either. The doctor said to keep it up for a couple months till he forgets about whatever triggered him to hold it. I sure hope my little guy stops holding this in and we can get back on track with potty training! Which he refuses to do! I love it how I jinxed myself on how easy Jake was to potty train and was done at 21 months. Old Rex is giving us a run for his money....so now I get to praise him for using the bathroom in his diaper! Yeah!
