Today, Jake and daddy went on their first fishing trip down Stone River. It is a long ride almost 4 hours, so that is why Jake has not been down before this. He has been asking dad to take him all week, so today was the day. They got up and left by 5am today to float down the river....Jake was so excited he jumped out of bed changed and they were on their way. He has always talked about catching a big ole catfish! But, as only caught little fish when he fishes, until today!
Jake caught a huge fish today! About a 2 pound catfish- it was the length of his arm! Gosh he was so excited to catch this fish.....Beau said, it took all Jake had to reel it in, but he reeled it in all by himself!
